About
My work is nearly always about the emotional undercurrents that exist within and between us. I like to capture organic scenes, buildings or landscapes in their natural states, people in contemplative moments when they are unaware of being observed. I am most inspired by the beauty found in architectural details, artistry, designs found in nature and in the human form. Because, in most instances, I am more intrigued by lines than colors, I prefer to exhibit in black and white, as I feel we can more thoroughly appreciate shapes, lines and shadows in an object or scene without the distraction of its color.
I am currently the Board President of the Scarab Club in Detroit, Michigan. I live with my husband Carl Wilson, who is a printmaker & graphic novelist.
